NEW DELHI & NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–

The Coalition will provide practical guidance and frameworks that help leaders navigate the world’s greatest challenges — from macroeconomic and geopolitical shifts to severe weather and AI — and translate them into resilience, growth, and durable competitive advantage.

The scale and interconnectedness of these challenges are reshaping leadership priorities. Research shows CEOs see competitive disruption as the top opportunity and macroeconomic conditions as the top threat, while 96% report increased board involvement amid uncertainty.1 Taken together, these trends reinforce that resilience belongs at the heart of leadership strategy.

“The Competitive Resilience Coalition will help leaders see the full picture and turn resilience into agility, growth, and ultimately opportunity,” said John Doyle, President and CEO of Marsh; Coalition Co-Chair. “The organizations that gain clarity first do more than survive disruption — they move faster, invest with confidence, and gain ground while others are still assessing.”

Through executive convenings, research and thought leadership, the Coalition will identify the risk exposures that matter most and provide models that leaders can use to make decisions that support sustained resilience in their companies, organizations, and economies.

“Leaders are navigating geopolitical, technological and economic shifts that are moving faster and creating consequences far beyond any single market or industry. The Competitive Resilience Coalition brings together leaders with different perspectives to cut through the noise, challenge assumptions and better understand the forces shaping what comes next. Our ambition is to turn those insights into action that informs economic growth across sectors,” said Karen Saltser, CEO of Bloomberg Media; Coalition Co-Chair.

The Coalition’s founding members include John Doyle, President and CEO of Marsh; Karen Saltser, CEO of Bloomberg Media; Eric Andersen, President and CEO of AIG; Merit Janow, Chair of the Board of Directors, Mastercard; Dr. Taha Kass-Hout, Global Chief Science and Technology Officer, GE HealthCare; T.H. Janet Napolitano, Professor of Public Policy, UC Berkeley and former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security; Ronald P. OʼHanley, Chairman and CEO, State Street; Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, Former Chief of the Defence Staff, British Armed Forces; T.H. Gina Raimondo, Co-Chair and CEO, RAISE US and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce; and Christian Ulbrich, President and CEO, JLL.

The Coalition’s initial work will focus on engaging leaders in a dialogue about the five most critical and interconnected decision domains for building resilience today: geopolitics and geoeconomics; the natural environment; digital and AI; operations; and people and trust.

The Coalition was unveiled today at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum 2026 in New Delhi. At the Forum, John Romeo, Managing Partner and CEO of Marsh’s Oliver Wyman Forum, is leading a conversation about protecting enterprise value and strengthening long-term competitiveness amid the shifts reshaping the world economy. Findings will be shared with the Coalition to continue shaping the resilience agenda.
