Trio-Tech International Receives Additional $3.8 Million in Orders Supporting Next-Generation AI GPU Platform

Brings Total Announced Orders Supporting the Platform Since March to Approximately $14.2 Million

SINGAPORE & VAN NUYS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
Trio-Tech International (NYSE MKT : TRT), a comprehensive provider of semiconductor back-end solutions and a global value-added supplier of electronic equipment, today announced it has received approximately $3.8 million in additional orders for high-performance Burn-In Boards (“BIBs”) supporting a next-generation artificial intelligence (“AI”) GPU platform.

The new orders follow previously announced orders of approximately $5.3 million in March 2026, $2.5 million in May and $2.6 million in June 2026, bringing total announced orders supporting the AI GPU platform since March to approximately $14.2 million. The continued order activity underscores growing demand for Trio-Tech’s burn-in and reliability solutions for advanced AI computing applications.

In its fiscal third-quarter earnings release, Trio-Tech reported total revenue of $16.5 million, up 124% from the prior-year quarter, and Semiconductor Back-End Solutions revenue of $13.1 million, up 141% year over year. The company also announced plans to expand its footprint in Malaysia through a newly executed lease for an additional 104,000 square feet in Perai, Penang. The expansion is expected to add significant capacity for AI-related testing services and support demand from North American and European customers operating in Southeast Asia.
