Introducing DashBuddy
Dashing is a flexible and fast way to earn on your own terms. But that first delivery comes with plenty of questions: How do I schedule a dash? What’s a hotspot? When do I get paid? Getting through that first delivery is a big part of whether someone keeps dashing.
That’s why we’re launching DashBuddy, a new AI-powered assistant that gets Dashers the answer they need, the moment they need it. New Dashers don’t have to know the app or the Help Center inside and out. They can just send a text over SMS and get an answer. No call to support required.
More than 200,000 Dashers have already used DashBuddy.* Here’s what we’ve already seen: it has resolved around 95% of questions from Dashers signing up or preparing for their first dash, and Dashers who talk to DashBuddy before their first dash are more likely to complete one within just three days following their chat.** That means DashBuddy is helping remove the barriers that prevent Dashers getting started, so they can earn towards their goals sooner.
DashBuddy is live across the U.S. and Canada today. We’re also testing Voice Mode, so Dashers can have a call with DashBuddy and ask a question instead of texting.
New AI features for every dash
Getting started is one part of dashing. Reaching your goals through dashing is another. As Dashers gain experience, their needs and questions change. That’s why we’re rolling out new AI-powered tools directly in the Dasher app.
A Dasher wondering when to head out this Friday doesn’t have to guess anymore. They just ask, in their own words: “When and where should I dash on Friday?” And they hear back something built just for them: maybe 11 AM to 2 PM in their neighborhood, timed so they’re still home for school pickup.
We’re rolling these tools out to Dashers across the U.S., and the early signs are promising.
