MediaCo Announces Board Leadership Changes

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
MediaCo Holding Inc. (Nasdaq: MDIA) announced several leadership changes to its Board of Directors, reflecting the company’s continued focus on strong governance and long-term value creation.

After serving as independent Chair of the Board, Deborah McDermott will step down from her role as Chair and as Chair of the Compensation Committee. She will continue to serve as a member of MediaCo’s Board of Directors and remain a member of the Compensation Committee.

MediaCo also announced the appointment of Robert L. Greene, President & CEO of the National Association of Investment Companies, as independent Chair of the Board. In addition, Greene will join and lead the Compensation Committee as its Chair.

The company further announced that Amit Thakar has been appointed Chair of the Audit Committee and will succeed Robert Greene in that role, while Greene assumes his new responsibilities as Chair of the Board.
