Kemper Establishes Enterprise Distribution & Marketing Organization and Announces Business Leadership Appointments

Actions align leadership and capabilities across Distribution & Marketing, P&C Claims, and Life

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR) today announced the formation of an enterprise Distribution & Marketing organization and leadership appointments in its P&C and Life businesses. Together, these actions support Kemper’s strategic priorities by aligning leadership and capabilities in areas central to performance and long-term profitable growth.

The new Distribution & Marketing organization will bring together sales and marketing resources across Kemper’s businesses under the leadership of Chris Flint, who has been named Chief Distribution & Marketing Officer, reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer Steve McAnena. Flint most recently served as President of Kemper Life, a position he held since 2023. The organization will strengthen and coordinate Kemper’s distribution capabilities while supporting each business’s distinct strategy and profitable growth objectives.

Kemper also announced leadership appointments in P&C Claims and Life.

Todd Williams has joined Kemper as Chief Claims Officer and leads the P&C Claims organization, with responsibility for claims strategy, performance and transformation. Reporting to Head of P&C Eric Kappler, Williams brings more than 25 years of auto claims experience and deep expertise in the nonstandard auto market, including building and leading the claims organization at Bristol West.

Jennifer Kopps-Wagner has been named Head of Kemper Life, reporting to McAnena. She succeeds Flint as leader of the business after serving more than eight years as Kemper Life’s General Counsel. Her background combines broad business, legal and operating expertise across life, health and supplemental insurance. She will oversee Life’s core insurance operations and strategy, including insurance administration, actuarial, product, pricing and underwriting.
