Today, Henry Schein Cares reflects the Company’s broader approach to corporate citizenship through five interconnected pillars:

Catalyzing Healthcare Access;

Advancing Policies, Solutions & Innovations;

Relationship Building for Change;

Empowering Team Schein; and

Sustaining the Planet.

Together, these pillars provide a framework for the Company’s efforts to create positive change across health, society, people, and the planet.

Since its formal launch in 2001, Henry Schein Cares has contributed more than $285 million in cash and donated products, collaborated with more than 5,000charitable partners worldwide, delivered over 100,000 hygiene kits through its We Care Global Challenge, supported more than 75,000 students globally through its Back to School program, and much more.

“Helping health happen has been at the core of our purpose since Henry and Esther Schein founded the Company more than 94 years ago,” said Fred Lowery, Chief Executive Officer of Henry Schein. “For the past 25 years, Henry Schein Cares formally brought the philosophy of ‘doing well by doing good’ to life, harnessing the power of partnerships to strengthen healthcare and communities around the world. As we look to the next 25 years and beyond, together we will continue to build on that legacy to help create a healthier future for all.”

On September 23, during the United Nations General Assembly Week, Henry Schein celebrated this milestone anniversary with a signature event in New York City, gathering partners, customers, Team Schein Members, healthcare leaders, and other key stakeholders. The event honored the collective impact achieved since 2001, while previewing the areas where Henry Schein Cares will focus its impact over the next 25 years, including expanding access to care for vulnerable populations, advancing dental-medical integration, prevention and wellness, minimally invasive care, and disaster preparedness.

A fireside chat between Fred and Diane Brady, Executive Editorial Director of Fortune, reflected on the Company’s journey and looked ahead to the evolving role of sustainability and philanthropy in business, including how purpose, partnership, and shared value can help address pressing health and societal challenges. Fred and Diane also discussed the important role of oral health in systemic health, as well as innovative partnerships the Company is developing to further its mission.

“As Henry Schein Cares enters its next chapter, we have an opportunity to build upon what we’ve learned while focusing on where we can make the greatest difference,” said David Kochman, Senior Vice President, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Henry Schein. “That means continuing to expand access to care while placing an even greater emphasis on prevention, supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals, and strengthening the partnerships that make lasting change possible. We know that no one organization can do this work alone. By working together, we can help build a healthier and more resilient world.”

Henry Schein Cares has supported long-standing programs and partnerships, including:

  • The American Dental Association Foundation’s Give Kids A Smile® program, which has helped more than 10.2 million underserved children receive oral health services since 2003;

  • Practice Pink®, which has contributed more than $2.1 million to cancer-related causes;
  • The S.M.I.L.E. Healthcare Pathway Program™, which helps introduce students to careers in oral health and strengthen the future healthcare workforce;

  • Special Olympics,which helps remove barriers to care for people with intellectual disabilities; and
  • Prepare to Care, Henry Schein’s long-term disaster preparedness and response program, championing global charities: Americares, Direct Relief, Project HOPE, Project C.U.R.E., and Heart to Heart International.

Through the “Empowering Team Schein” pillar, Henry Schein Cares also recognizes the important role Team Schein Members (TSMs) play in advancing the Company’s corporate citizenship efforts. In 2025 alone, more than 3,000 TSMs were involved in the Company’s seven Employee Resource Groups, and TSMs contributed more than 6,000 volunteer hours globally.

Reflecting the “Sustaining the Planet” pillar of Henry Schein Cares, Henry Schein is continuing its efforts to reinforce the Company’s belief that a healthy planet also helps support healthier people and communities. The Company is advancing its Net Zero 2050 goal through initiatives such as renewable energy, supply chain resilience, circularity, and carbon removal. The Company is advancing toward its goal of sourcing 100% renewable energy by 2030—currently achieving 34% through renewable energy certificates—while also partnering with Climeworks Solutions to invest in its first carbon removal portfolio.

“The connection between the health of our planet and the health of our communities is clear, which is why sustaining the planet is an important part of how we think about helping health happen,” said Jennifer Kim Field, Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer, Henry Schein. “As we look to the future, our focus is on continuing to reduce our environmental impact while working alongside our customers, supplier partners, Team Schein Members, and others across the healthcare ecosystem to drive meaningful change.”
