U.S. Consumer Cash Back Card Members can now redeem Reward Dollars for a deposit directly into an American Express® High Yield Savings Account (HYSA), helping turn rewards into compounded growth2. Graphite™ Business Cash Unlimited Card Members can also now redeem Reward Dollars for a deposit into an American Express Business Checking account.

“Card Members want their rewards to be useful, flexible, and easy to put toward the things that matter most to them,” said Corey Timlin, Senior Vice President of Consumer Banking at American Express. “With the majority of our deposits coming from existing Card Members, we have a unique opportunity to bring Cards and banking closer together. By making it possible for Card Members to turn the rewards they earn into savings and everyday banking, we’re creating a more connected experience that helps them get even more value from their relationship with American Express.”

A More Connected Membership Experience for Cash Back Card Members

  • For U.S. Consumer Cash Back Card Members, Reward Dollars can now be redeemed for a deposit directly into an Amex HYSA at a 1:1 redemption rate. Once deposited, those funds can earn the account’s competitive APY with daily compounding interest which is deposited monthly.

Record Pace of Eaton Fire Claims for SCE Program Continues Ahead of Nov. 30 Deadline

Record Pace of Eaton Fire Claims for SCE Program Continues Ahead of Nov. 30 Deadline

Represented claimants make up a growing share of participation, accounting for 41% of claims submitted through the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program.

ROSEMEAD, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–October saw the highest number of claims submitted this year to Southern California Edison’s Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program, as community members directly impacted by the Eaton Fire continue to evaluate their options for seeking compensation ahead of the Nov. 30, 2026, claim submission deadline. The record month builds on increasing claim activity in recent months. More than 41% of claims have now been submitted through an attorney or authorized representative.

“It’s encouraging to see more families and businesses turning to the program as they recover and move forward,” said Pedro J. Pizarro, president and CEO of Edison International, SCE’s parent company. “There is still time to submit a claim before the November 30 deadline, and we encourage eligible community members to explore what compensation may be available to them.”

The program is designed to provide compensation in line with settlement values for similar claims in past wildfire lawsuits through a more streamlined approach. As of Oct. 30, 2026:

  • More than 5,550 claims submitted, consisting of nearly 17,000 individuals, trusts and legal entities, with 41% submitted by attorneys or authorized representatives.
  • More than 3,200 offers extended to over 8,000 claimants, totaling about $1.1 billion. Nearly 80% of offers have been accepted, with more pending. Only about 2% of offers have been declined.
  • More than 4,450 claimants paid, totaling over $625 million, with many more in process.

Get The Facts

It is important that eligible community members make fully informed decisions based on accurate facts. For anyone who has been told that waiting for the first trial date will provide compensation on a similar timeline or within months of the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program deadline, that is false. Resolution through litigation will be lengthy. Only eight households have been selected by the court to participate in the initial trial.

Participation in the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program results in a timely, no-commitment offer and still keeps the option open to pursue the longer litigation path if desired. Claims submitted by Nov. 30 will continue to be reviewed and processed afterward, even if validation or preparation of an offer has not been completed. Submitting a claim, receiving an offer and evaluating that offer do not waive a claimant’s rights.

More Represented Claimants Turning to the Program

Claimants represented by attorneys are increasingly participating in the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program. For claimants represented at the time they submit a claim, offers include an additional 20% of the net damages portion to help address legal expenses.

Angela Loera, who lost her home in the Eaton Fire, is among those who participated in the program with the assistance of an attorney. Her attorney, Derek Whitefield, has helped hundreds of claimants navigate the program.

“Thank you for making this process easy, quick and seamless,” said Loera in a handwritten note shared with SCE.

Fair Offers, Fast Payments

Litigation may take years. Some claims arising from 2017 and 2018 fires remain pending today. The Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program offers a more streamlined alternative, with offers and payments measured in weeks or months rather than years. To keep this option available, claims must be submitted by Nov. 30, 2026, and claimants must remain responsive to requests for information and communications related to their claim.

  • On average, offers are being delivered within 36 days following submission of a substantially complete claim.
  • Payments are made within 30 days after all conditions in the settlement agreement have been satisfied, with many claimants receiving payment in as little as two to three weeks.

Learn More and Get Help Starting a Claim

SCE will host in-person and virtual sessions where community members can learn about the program, ask questions and receive help starting a claim. Register here for the following sessions:

  • Thursday, Nov. 12, 6 p.m. (Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1757 N. Lake Ave., Pasadena)
  • Thursday, Nov. 19, 6 p.m. (virtual)

To submit a claim and access detailed guidance in English and Spanish, visit the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program web page. One-on-one assistance is available in multiple languages by phone or in person, from start to finish. Call 888-912-8528 to get started.

DEADLINE REMINDER: If you are a member of the proposed Class, you may move the court no later than December 14, 2026 for an opportunity to be lead plaintiff for the purported class. If you have losses we encourage you to contact us to learn more about the lead plaintiff process. You need not seek to become a lead plaintiff in order to share in any possible recovery.

According to the complaint, on June 16, 2026, Jehoshaphat Research published a report (the “Report”) in which it announced that it had a short position in Gildan securities. The Report allegedly stated that Gildan “has been stuffing the channel for several years, persistently and increasingly, resulting in disproportionate outstanding receivables at each successive quarter end.” Further, the Report allegedly stated “[w]e believe GIL has done this to bring future revenues forward, and that it has recently pulled forward around $500m of revenues – revenues that have essentially come out of the out of the upcoming quarters in 2026 – along with overstating its revenue and growth for several years.” On this news, Gildan’s shares fell $11.63 per share, or 18.7%, to close at $50.34 on June 16, 2026.

The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that (1) Gildan did not have adequate internal controls and that (2) Gildan used channel stuffing to create an appearance of revenue.

On October 13, 2026, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced coordinated enforcement actions against Bank of America’s wholly owned subsidiary, Bank of America, N.A. (“BANA”), resulting in more than $1.2 billion in penalties and settlements for violations of Bank Secrecy Act (“BSA”), Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) and applicable economic sanctions laws due to longstanding and systemic compliance deficiencies. In its order, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN, states that BANA admits that it willfully violated the BSA and missed or delayed detecting and reporting more than $5 billion in suspicious activity.

Then, on October 14, 2026, Bank of America reported third quarter 2026 results showing that the $1.2 billion regulatory settlement charge reduced diluted earnings per share by $0.17. Following the enforcement announcements and the Company’s disclosure of their impact on its third-quarter earnings, the complaint alleges Bank of America’s stock price fell to an intraday low of $49.26 on October 14, 2026, before closing at $51.39, down 4.8% from the previous day’s closing price of $53.96.

The complaint alleges, among other things, that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that systemic weaknesses in BANA’s BSA/AML program caused it to fail to properly monitor trillions of dollars in transactions and to miss, delay, or file inaccurate or incomplete suspicious activity reports involving billions of dollars in suspicious activity.

DEADLINE REMINDER: If you are a member of the proposed Class, you may move the court no later than December 1, 2026 for an opportunity to be lead plaintiff for the purported class. If you have losses we encourage you to contact us to learn more about the lead plaintiff process. You need not seek to become a lead plaintiff in order to share in any possible recovery.

On July 30, 2026, according to the complaint, Coastal announced its second quarter 2026 financial results, reporting a GAAP net loss of $42.1 million, driven primarily by a $68.8 million credit expense related to a single CCBX partner relationship. Following this news, the price of Coastal stock fell $30.75 per share, or 43.5%, to close at $39.91 per share on July 30, 2026.

The complaint alleges that Coastal and the individual Defendants made false and misleading statements and failed to disclose that “(i) the credit quality of a substantial CCBX partner loan portfolio, comprising approximately $500 million in loans and nearly 23% of all CCBX loans, had materially deteriorated; (ii) as a result of that deterioration, Coastal faced significant exposure to credit losses notwithstanding Defendants’ repeated representations concerning the credit protections provided by its CCBX partner agreements; and (iii) Coastal’s risk management and credit monitoring practices were inadequate to identify, adequately account for, and mitigate the deterioration of the CCBX partner loan portfolio and the resulting risks to Coastal.”

NEW YORK, Oct. 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Millrose Properties, Inc. (“Millrose” or the “Company”) (NYSE: MRP) on behalf of investors that purchased or otherwise acquired Millrose securities between February 7, 2025 and October 2, 2026 (the “Class Period”).

DEADLINE REMINDER: If you are a member of the proposed Class, you may move the court no later than December 8, 2026 for an opportunity to be lead plaintiff for the purported class. If you have losses we encourage you to contact us to learn more about the lead plaintiff process. You need not seek to become a lead plaintiff in order to share in any possible recovery.

The Class Period begins on February 7, 2025, the day the spin-off of Millrose from Lennar became effective. According to the complaint, the prospectus for the spin-off stated “[w]e do not, and will not, have any lease agreements with respect to the Transferred Assets and the Supplemental Transferred Assets, do not intend to enter into any lease agreements in the foreseeable future and do not, and will not, have any tenants or occupants on any of the properties in the Real Estate Portfolio.”

According to the complaint, on October 2, 2025, Hunterbrook Media issued a report revealing that Millrose purchased $200 million worth of finished homes from Lennar, an entity that controls Millrose, with the intent of leasing those properties on the rental market. The Hunterbrook Media report allegedly further revealed that Millrose is making a loss on those rental properties. On this news, the price of Millrose shares fell 8.5%, or $2.10 per share, on October 5, 2026 according to the complaint.

The complaint alleges, among other things, that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that despite representations to the contrary (i) Millrose’s objectives were not limited to engaging in land purchases, horizontal development, and homesite option purchase arrangements for Lennar and potentially other homebuilders and developers; and (ii) Millrose would in fact enter into lease agreements and would have tenants in its properties.
