Customers can pick up eligible prescriptions curbside through DriveUp & Go™; new pharmacy customers may be eligible for grocery savings

(NYSE: ACI) today announced the nationwide expansion of its free curbside pickup service DriveUp & Go™ to include free curbside pickup for eligible pharmacy prescriptions*, giving customers a simple way to get the medications they need without waiting in line or leaving their vehicle. Available at more than 1,700 participating store and pharmacy locations, the service adds another easy option designed to help customers save time and manage their health in the flow of everyday life.

DriveUp & Go prescription pickup allows customers to skip the pharmacy line and conveniently receive eligible medications curbside. Customers can place orders online or through the Albertsons Cos. store app, select a pickup time during designated pharmacy DriveUp & Go hours and prepay in advance. Upon arrival, prescriptions are delivered directly to the customer’s vehicle. Prescription pickup can be added to a grocery DriveUp & Go order as well, though no grocery purchase is required.
To welcome new pharmacy customers, Albertsons Cos. also offers grocery savings incentives. Eligible customers who fill or transfer prescriptions to an Albertsons Cos. pharmacy for the first time can earn savings off groceries.†
