Vontier Named to TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2025 List

TIME recognized only 500 companies globally

RALEIGH, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Vontier Corporation (NYSE: VNT), a leading global provider of critical technologies and solutions to connect, manage and scale the mobility ecosystem, has been recognized in the second edition of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2025. The company was also recognized in TIME’s 2024 list. This prestigious award is presented by TIME and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The award list was announced today and can be viewed on Time.com.

The World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2025 list recognizes leading companies in corporate social responsibility from around the globe. Companies were evaluated in more than 20 key performance indicators related to sustainability, such as compliance with international reporting standards, emissions, or commitment to goals and initiatives. Based on this multi-layered analysis, a score was determined for each company. Out of over 5,000 of the world’s largest and most influential companies assessed, only 500 received this TIME recognition.

Vontier recently released their annual Sustainability Report highlighting key Environmental, Safety and Innovation achievements. Highlights from the report include:

  • Recognition and Achievements: Vontier continued to earn global recognition for its corporate impact, including awards from TIME, Newsweek, USA Today, theBritish Safety Council and Sustainalytics.
  • Environmental Progress: All manufacturing sites achieved ISO 14001 certification ahead of schedule. Vontier also achieved a 40% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions from its adjusted 2020 baseline.
  • Safety and Well-Being: Vontier continued to drive a best-in-class employee health and safety program, achieving its five-year safety performance milestones ahead of schedule. This includes days away restricted or transferred (DART), which was 0.23 in 2024 with a 2026 target of 0.28, and total recordable incident rate (TRIR), which was 0.31 in 2024 with a 2026 target of 0.34.
  • Learning and Development: Vontier launched its Sustainability Leadership Development Program, to empower team members to become champions of sustainability within the organization.
  • Innovative Solutions for a Multi-Energy Future: Vontier continued to help customers navigate the energy trilemma – balancing sustainability, affordability and security. Vontier’s multi-energy solutions support gas, electric, CNG/RNG, biogas and hydrogen fueling.
  • Community Engagement: Employees engaged in over 9,200 volunteer hours, reflecting Vontier’s focus on making a meaningful impact in its communities and driving positive change.
