Oracle, Partners Pave Way for AI Breakthroughs in Brazil

Company’s growing presence gives enterprises access to technologies, services for major cloud, AI deployments, ISG Provider Lens® report says

SÃO PAULO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
The Oracle ecosystem in Brazil has reached an inflection point at which enterprises with the right strategies and partners can bring transformative AI use cases to life through Oracle technologies and services, according to a new research report published today by Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm.

The 2025 ISG Provider Lens® Oracle Cloud and Technology Ecosystem report for Brazil finds that the nation’s enterprises are beginning to reap the benefits of AI and the cloud thanks to technological advancements, increasingly mature organizations and providers that understand digital transformation. In Brazil and around the world, the major breakthroughs in technology are being made by enterprises that can use advanced language models to quickly extract value from data while maintaining control, security and compliance.

“Success in the current technology revolution means achieving tangible results in less than 12 months,” said Bill Huber, partner, Digital Transformation and Cost Optimization at ISG. “The Oracle ecosystem has helped Brazilian companies move from AI experiments to production deployments that improve productivity, decision quality and customer experience.”

Oracle’s growing presence in the country has helped to position Brazil as a regional hub for innovation, the report says. The company has established Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centers in Sao Paulo and Vinhedo and is launching IoT services and Oracle Database@Google Cloud, which allows enterprises to deploy Oracle database services in Google Cloud data centers. In 2025, Oracle opened an Oracle Innovation Lab in Sao Paulo, where companies, partners and academic institutions can develop and validate AI-based solutions.

The Brazilian Oracle ecosystem has a skilled technical community and a large installed base of platforms such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and human capital management (HCM), which has helped support AI implementations, ISG says. Successful AI use cases based on Oracle technology in Brazil include a bacterial infection diagnosis solution developed by startup Biofy. The system uses genetic sequencing and vector search to identify bacteria, including emerging mutations, in hours instead of days. It allows doctors to prescribe antibiotics more quickly and helps enable faster development of new antibiotics using AI.

Brazilian enterprises seeking successful AI partnerships with Oracle ecosystem providers should present detailed technical requirements and measurable criteria, demand service-level commitments beyond traditional system availability and negotiate contracts that guarantee technology portability to prevent vendor lock-in, the report says. Pilot projects should be limited in scope and length, with clear improvement goals agreed upon in advance.

“The opportunity to transform enterprise operations and significantly advance business goals through AI requires quick, strategic action,” said Cristiane Tarricone, lead author of the report. “The Oracle ecosystem in Brazil is helping companies seize this potential.”

The report also examines other trends in the Brazilian Oracle ecosystem, including fast-growing graphics processing unit (GPU) consumption and demand for FinOps and other managed services.
