Comcast Names Steve Croney CEO of Connectivity & Platforms, Succeeding Dave Watson, Who Will Become Vice Chairman of Comcast Corporation
PHILADELPHIA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA) today announced that Steve Croney will be promoted to Chief Executive Officer of its Connectivity & Platforms division, succeeding Dave Watson on January 1, 2026. In this role, Croney will be responsible for Comcast’s residential and commercial connectivity businesses, including broadband, wireless and its entertainment distribution platforms. At the same time, Watson will become Vice Chairman of Comcast Corporation where he will advise the company and lead strategic initiatives.

Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Connectivity & Platforms and held leadership roles in finance, operations, and general management across the company, driving major initiatives such as market expansion and network evolution, the launch of new products, and the use of AI and data to enhance the customer experience and operational performance.
