Cognyte Secures $5+ Million Subscription Deal with APAC National Security Agency
Long-standing Tier-1 customer expands deployment, unlocking new value through AI-powered analytics and creating significant growth potential over time
HERZLIYA, Israel–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cognyte Software Ltd. (NASDAQ: CGNT) (“Cognyte”), a global leader in software-driven technology for investigative analytics, today announced that a national security agency in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region has signed a five-year subscription agreement initially valued at ~$1.5 million annually. The agreement allows the customer to scale adoption of new innovations and capabilities over time, potentially growing its investment to $20+ million over the contract term.
The agency, which is responsible for safeguarding national security against terror and serious crime, is a long-standing Cognyte customer and has expanded its existing deployment with advanced proprietary AI analytics to identify hidden relations at scale. These additional capabilities enable the agency to uncover investigative insights that were not available before, strengthening threat detection, accelerating investigations and enhancing decision-making across complex operational environments.
The subscription agreement provides the agency with ongoing access to Cognyte’s latest technology innovations, ensuring its investigative capabilities continue to evolve as threat landscapes change. The multi-year structure aligns Cognyte with the agency’s long-term operational planning and reinforces Cognyte’s platform as a foundational analytics layer supporting mission-critical national security operations.
“For national security agencies, the ability to continuously generate new, actionable insights is critical to staying ahead of terror and serious crime,” said Efi Nuri, Chief Revenue Officer at Cognyte. “By adding the latest AI and advanced analytics innovations to its existing deployment, this agency is unlocking investigative capabilities that materially strengthen its operational effectiveness. The depth of value delivered through these capabilities is what drives continued adoption and expansion over time, while the subscription model ensures the agency benefits from ongoing innovation as threats evolve.”
“This agreement reflects the durability of our customer relationships and the effectiveness of our land-and-expand strategy,” said David Abadi, Chief Financial Officer of Cognyte. “By adopting a subscription model with the potential to grow more than threefold, this deal illustrates how customers expand their use of our platform as they realize tangible operational value. Multi-year subscriptions like this support predictable revenue visibility and reinforce our confidence in durable demand as we execute toward our long-term growth objectives.”
