Xacta.ai will help automate risk management and strengthen enterprise-wide visibility into cybersecurity risk
ASHBURN, Va., Aug. 31, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Telos Corporation (NASDAQ: TLS), a leading provider of cyber, cloud and enterprise security solutions for the world’s most security-conscious organizations, today announced it has received a task order on a single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract from Air Combat Command’s Directorate of Intelligence (ACC/A2) to modernize cybersecurity risk management across the Air Force Intelligence Community (AF IC).
The $34.3 million task order includes a five-month base period and four one-year option periods, with room to expand and add additional task orders. If all options are exercised, the total ceiling value of the IDIQ is $37,775,000.
Under the contract, Telos will implement Xacta.ai™ across AF IC security boundaries, helping establish a more comprehensive, data-driven cybersecurity assurance program. By applying artificial intelligence and automation to traditionally manual assessment and authorization activities, Xacta will help reduce administrative workload, improve accuracy and provide greater visibility into cybersecurity risk across the enterprise.
Telos will also configure and integrate Xacta with dependent systems to help operationalize Zero Trust principles, provide training to support workforce adoption, and deliver cybersecurity expertise aligned with Department of War workforce qualification requirements.
“The Air Force Intelligence Community operates in an extraordinarily complex and dynamic threat environment, where timely and accurate insight into cybersecurity risk is essential to mission success,” said John B. Wood, chairman and chief executive officer, Telos. “We are proud to expand our support of the Air Force by delivering AI-powered capabilities that automate compliance activities, strengthen cybersecurity assurance and allow skilled personnel to focus more of their time on mission and emerging threats.”
Xacta is Telos’ cyber governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform, designed to automate and streamline cybersecurity, compliance and risk management processes across complex enterprise environments. Xacta.ai extends these capabilities through artificial intelligence-powered automation and analysis, helping organizations accelerate compliance activities, improve decision-making and gain greater visibility into cybersecurity risk.
