Braze Releases 2026 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report
Showcases continued commitment to building a more equitable and sustainable future
Reduced emissions by 18% year-over-year in FY’26
Surpassed $4.4 million in charitable grants to more than 200 nonprofits and charitable organizations to date
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
Braze (Nasdaq: BRZE), the leading customer engagement platform that empowers brands to Be Absolutely Engaging™, today announced the release of its fifth annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report. These programs help Braze attract and retain talent, earn customer trust, and operate with the discipline and rigor required to support the company’s diverse set of global enterprise customers.
“By prioritizing our environmental, social, and governance efforts, we strengthen our ability to build a more equitable and sustainable future for our people, our customers, our partners, and our communities,” said Rod McLeod, VP of Employee Engagement & Social Impact at Braze. “Through continued commitment and investment, we’ve been able to deliver meaningful progress across the board, allowing us to drive positive business outcomes and meet the standards our stakeholders expect and deserve.”
The report’s key initiatives and accomplishments include:
- Environment: Braze made progress across its facilities, supply chain, and renewable energy sourcing in FY’26, reducing emissions by 18% year-over-year (inclusive of the company’s OfferFit acquisition, now BrazeAI Decisioning Studio™). The company launched a Green Lease Guide that embeds sustainability criteria into office lease renewals and new agreements, and extended that focus to its supply chain by engaging its top 50 suppliers, which represent roughly 65% of supplier emissions, through an updated Vendor Code of Conduct and a new sustainability training program. On the renewable energy front, Braze activated five Michigan solar facilities through its long-term Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA), generating 1,600 MWh of renewable energy each year.
- Social: Braze deepened its community impact both directly and through its customers. Since launching the Braze for Social Impact Fund, the company has surpassed $4.4 million in charitable grants to more than 200 nonprofits and charitable organizations around the world. Building on that work, Braze welcomed Coursera as its second customer partner participating in Tech for an Equitable Future, the company’s product grant program that has provided mentorship, grants and supporting services to more than 70 founders.
- Governance: Braze continued to uphold rigorous standards across security and compliance. The company maintained its ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance for the eighth consecutive year, and built on that foundation by further strengthening its governance systems, programs, and procedures to support global best business practices and keep pace with a dynamic regulatory environment.
