Cricut Maker 5 brings together expanded material capabilities, specialized tools, and an intuitive guided design experience. From popular and everyday projects like personalized apparel and full-color stickers to special projects like engraved metal tags, custom jewelry, dimensional home decor, and signage, Cricut Maker 5 offers unlimited creative freedom.

New to Cricut Maker 5 is the ability to cut and engrave compatible materials* up to 3 mm thick — a 25% increase in clearance compared with the previous generation’s 2.4 mm limit — opening more possibilities with materials such as leather, acrylic, metal, foam core, corrugated plastic, and felt. Combined with a sleek new design that’s 30% more compact than the previous generation, Cricut Maker 5 delivers the brand’s most versatile making experience in a smaller footprint.

Pricing and Availability

Cricut Maker 5 will be available beginning September 4, 2026, with bundles starting at USD $349 in Slate Blue.

For the first two weeks following launch, Cricut Maker 5 will be available exclusively through Cricut.com and Michaels stores. Michaels will offer an exclusive bundle featuring the Teal machine. Following the exclusivity period, Cricut Maker 5 and select bundles will be available through additional online and in-store retailers where Cricut machines are sold.
