Affirm and Virgin Media O2 partner to bring flexible financing to O2 customers

LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Affirm and Virgin Media O2 are today announcing a new partnership that will see the transparent and flexible payment network provide upfront and honest hardware financing to O2 – one of the UK’s leading mobile providers.

Through the partnership, new and existing O2 customers will be able to enjoy increased flexibility to choose a payment option that suits their needs when purchasing a device.

Affirm will provide financing options for mobile phones and other hardware, including headphones and games consoles, offering a wide choice of monthly payment plans. Customers who take out one of these payment plans will never be charged late or hidden fees when paying off their loan, and unlike paying with a credit card, there is no compound interest.

At checkout, approved customers will see their pay-over-time options clearly displayed, enabling them to choose the plan that best suits their budget, with the total cost shown upfront and no surprises.

The partnership provides Virgin Media O2 with optionality to expand its offering to the SIM-free market, adding to its existing portfolio of Pay Monthly Handset Bundles and SIM Only options.

Windsor – 6 February 2026 – LG Energy Solution, Stellantis, and NextStar Energy today announced that LG Energy Solution will acquire full ownership of NextStar Energy, with Stellantis selling its 49 per cent equity stake to LG Energy Solution. 

NextStar Energy was established as a joint venture by the two companies in 2022 to build Canada’s first large-scale battery manufacturing facility in Windsor, Ontario, and will continue building a resilient and competitive foundation for Canada’s battery future.

The ownership transition is a mutually agreed, strategic decision by the joint venture’s two shareholders, LG Energy Solution and Stellantis. The decision was informed by extensive engagement with NextStar Energy’s leadership team to ensure a seamless transition and strengthen the company’s long-term growth and investment outlook.

Under the new ownership structure, NextStar Energy will leverage LG Energy Solution’s technological leadership and global operational expertise to better serve a broader customer base, including the Energy Storage System (ESS) industry, and respond with greater agility to market conditions and demand to pursue future growth opportunities.

Stellantis remains a committed customer and will continue to source battery products from NextStar Energy.

NextStar Energy’s facility is a cornerstone of Canada’s advanced manufacturing and clean-energy sector, anchoring domestic battery production, strengthening North America’s battery supply chain, and supporting Canada’s long-term industrial competitiveness.   • North America Shipments Up 43%, with South America, Middle East & Africa and China and India & Asia Pacific Also Reporting Growth

AMSTERDAM, February 6, 2026 – Stellantis N.V. today released its consolidated shipment estimates. The term “shipments” describes the volume of vehicles delivered to dealers, distributors, or directly from the Company to retail and fleet customers, which drive revenue recognition.

Consolidated shipments for the three months ending December 31, 2025, were an estimated 1.5 million units, a 9% increase y-o-y. This increase was primarily driven by North America and further supported by year‑over‑year shipment growth in South America and in the Middle East & Africa. This was partially offset by a decline in Enlarged Europe due to a combination of a contracting LCV market and competitive pressures.

  • In North America, Q4 shipments grew by approximately 127 thousand units compared to the same period in 2024, representing a 43% y-o-y increase. This significant improvement reflects the benefits of normalized inventory dynamics, in comparison to the prior year’s inventory reduction initiative, as well as increased momentum in the region with Q4 ’25 orders up nearly 150% y-o-y, driven largely by new and refreshed offerings from Jeep®, Ram and Dodge brands. Shipments of the refreshed Jeep® Grand Cherokee and Ram LD HEMI® V8 accounted for over 30% of y-o-y growth, partially offset by a decrease in PHEV shipments.
  • Enlarged Europe reported a decrease of approximately 26 thousand units, or 4% y-o-y. PC and LCV shipments each contracted. Increased shipments of the four Smart Car platform nameplates (Citroën C3, C3 Aircross, Opel Frontera, Fiat Grande Panda), rose 61 thousand additional units, or 127% y-o-y, due to progress rolling out each of the products, in an expanding range of BEV, MHEV, and ICE powertrain variants. This was not sufficient to reverse an overall drop of 21 thousand units in PCs, or 4% y-o-y, primarily driven by Peugeot, whose shipments were down approximately 30 thousand units, due to declining volumes of Peugeot 208 and of Peugeot 308, ahead of its recent MCA. In addition, LCV volumes were down by 5 thousand units, or 3% y-o-y, against a market context of 7% y-o-y industry volume decline.
  • Across Stellantis’ other regions, shipments grew 24 thousand units net in aggregate, representing a 6% increase y-o-y, mainly driven by an 18 thousand units increase in South America (+7% y-o-y), and an increase of three thousand units each in both Middle East & Africa (+2% y-o-y) as well as China, India & Asia Pacific (+20% y-o-y). Stellantis maintained its leadership in South America, with a 7% increase y-o-y supported by solid demand in Brazil. Growth in the Middle East & Africa was primarily driven by positive developments in Türkiye, and to a lesser extent, by both the ramp‑up of local production in Algeria, and continued growth in Morocco.

The important product actions taken during 2025, which continue to roll out in 2026, and the disciplined allocation of capital to support these, reflect the new team’s determination to drive profitable growth.

Early Benefits of Actions Taken in 2025

The effectiveness of these initial measures is evidenced by Stellantis’ return to positive volume growth. H2 2025 Consolidated Shipment volume of 2.8 million units increased by 277 thousand, or +11% year-over-year. North America contributed most strongly to the growth (+39%), benefiting from both improved inventory management and higher sales, while Enlarged Europe, South America, Middle East & Africa, and China and India & Asia Pacific each also contributed year-over-year volume gains.

Market share in the U.S. at 7.9% for H2 2025 was 60 basis points higher sequentially. In Enlarged Europe, Stellantis retained its overall #2 market share position and was also the leader in the all-hybrids segment, in the passenger car B-segment and in the LCV market. Customer order intake in Enlarged Europe increased throughout the year, with notable acceleration in H2 2025 (+13% y-o-y) with Q4 2025 orders up 23% y-o-y.

The renewed focus, improved methods and enlarged engineering staff committed to quality management are already seeing encouraging early results. For example, the number of issues reported for vehicles in their first month of service decreased over 50% in North America, and over 30% in Enlarged Europe since the beginning of 2025.

  • Includes write-offs related to cancelled products of €2.9 billion and impairment of platforms of €6.0 billion, primarily due to significantly reduced volume and profitability expectations.
  • Includes approximately €5.8 billion in projected cash payments over the next four years, relating to both cancelled products as well as other ongoing BEV products whose volumes are now expected to be considerably below prior projections.

2. €2.1 billion related to the resizing of the EV supply chain:

  • €2.1 billion of charges, including a total of approximately €0.7 billion in cash payments expected to be paid over the next four years, related to steps of rationalizing battery manufacturing capacity.

3. €5.4 billion related to other changes in the Company’s operations:

  • €4.1 billion due to a change in estimate for contractual warranty provision, resulting from the reassessment of the estimation process, taking into account recent increases in cost inflation and a deterioration in quality, as a result of operational choices, which did not deliver the expected quality performance, now being reversed by the new management team.
  • €1.3 billion of other charges, including restructuring primarily related to already communicated workforce reductions in Enlarged Europe.

In recognition of the Company’s Net loss for the full-year 2025 the Company will not pay an annual dividend in 2026.

In addition, the Board of Directors of Stellantis N.V. authorized the issuance of non-convertible subordinated perpetual hybrid bonds, up to a maximum amount of €5 billion.

These actions will contribute to preserving a strong balance sheet and liquidity position, while the Company works to return the business to positive industrial free cash flow generation.

WeRide and Uber to Deploy 1,200 Robotaxis in the Middle East

SAN FRANCISCO and GUANGZHOU, China, Feb. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD, HKEX: 0800), a global leader in autonomous driving technology, and Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: UBER) today announced a major expansion of their strategic partnership to deploy at least 1,200 Robotaxis across the Middle East. The deployment, which will span Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh, is expected to be completed as soon as 2027.

WeRide and Uber’s Robotaxi fleet in Abu Dhabi

All 1,200 Robotaxis will be available through the Uber app in the three markets, following existing fully driverless commercial Robotaxi operations in Abu Dhabi and passenger operations in Dubai and Riyadh. The fleet will be scaled up progressively, with Uber committed to adding more Robotaxis as key regulatory approvals and performance milestones are met, including the launch of fully driverless commercial operations covering the core areas of each city.

TrumpRx is a website that lists discounted cash prices from pharmaceutical manufacturers. TrumpRx does not sell or dispense drugs. Instead, TrumpRx facilitates consumer access to the selected discount, and then the underlying partner platform executes the pricing.

At launch, GoodRx is the integrated pricing source for Pfizer, including over 30 of Pfizer’s essential brand medications, along with other leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. Additional manufacturer integrations are expected to follow.

BEIJING, Feb. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Yimutian Group (“Yimutian” or the “Company”), a leading digital agriculture platform in China, announced that it has entered into a preliminary acquisition agreement with Hunan Jiufeng Agriculture Co., Ltd. (“Jiufeng Agriculture”), a well-established producer of premium camellia oil products.

The proposed transaction represents a strategic shift for Yimutian as it builds an integrated agricultural ecosystem spanning production, circulation, and consumer markets. By integrating Jiufeng Agriculture’s origin-based resources with its existing digital infrastructure, the Company seeks to enhance product standardization, traceability, and commercialization efficiency. This move allows Yimutian to extend its capabilities beyond B2B services and further into consumer-facing segments.

Founded in 2012, Jiufeng Agriculture operates a vertically integrated camellia oil business covering oil-tea cultivation, raw material processing, oil pressing, refining, and branded product sales. The company has invested approximately RMB 110 million in high-standard oil-tea plantations totaling nearly 30,000 mu (approximately 2,000 hectares) and participated in an agricultural consortium managing more than 150,000 mu of oil-tea farmland.

Jiufeng Agriculture is located in Yueyang County, Hunan Province, one of China’s nationally designated key camellia oil production regions, known for its favorable climate conditions and long-standing cultivation heritage. The region provides stable access to high-quality raw materials, supporting product consistency and long-term supply reliability.

Yimutian plans to deploy its digital and AI-enabled technologies across multiple stages of the camellia oil value chain.
