\n NORTHVILLE, Mich.<\/span>, Sept. 2, 2026<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Cooper Standard<\/a>\u00a0(NYSE: CPS), a leading global supplier of sealing and fluid handling systems and components, today announced that the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi)<\/a>\u00a0has validated Cooper Standard’s near-term science-based emissions reduction targets. The validation confirms Cooper Standard’s emission reduction targets are aligned with climate science and meet SBTi requirements. The validated targets also support the Company’s longer-term sustainability and decarbonization objectives.<\/p>\n

As validated by SBTi, Cooper Standard commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions 60.83% by 2035 from a 2024 base year. The Company also commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution and waste generated in operations 31.73% within the same timeframe.<\/p>\n
