Nutex Health, a Houston-based micro-hospital operator, first disclosed unauthorized network activity on August 24, 2026. On August 31, 2026, the company escalated its disclosure to a material cybersecurity incident, confirming that an unauthorized third party accessed and exfiltrated data from its servers and then threatened to post it externally.<\/p>\n

The ransomware-as-a-service group known as The Gentlemen added Nutex Health to its leak site and claimed responsibility \u2014 the hallmark of a “double extortion” attack, in which criminals both steal<\/span> data and threaten to publish it. Nutex Health’s hospital division operates 28 facilities across 12 states.<\/p>\n
