(NYSE: CFG) today announced that it will redeem on October 6, 2026 (the \u201cRedemption Date\u201d) all outstanding shares of its 4.000% Fixed-Rate Reset Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series G (CUSIP: 174610BD6; ISIN: US174610BD66) (the \u201cSeries G Preferred Stock\u201d). All 300,000 shares of the Series G Preferred Stock currently outstanding will be redeemed on the Redemption Date. On and after the Redemption Date, no shares of Series G Preferred Stock will remain outstanding and dividends in respect of the Series G Preferred Stock will no longer accrue.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Series G Preferred Stock will be redeemed at a redemption price of $1,000 per share (the \u201cRedemption Price\u201d). Because the Redemption Date is a dividend payment date for the Series G Preferred Stock, the Redemption Price does not include declared and unpaid dividends.
