(NOMAD), today announced that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Electricity has authorized the company to advance into Phase 3 of the Vermont Long Duration Energy Storage Demonstration Project.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">This approximately $19 million project is expected to deploy up to eight NOMAD transportable battery energy storage system (\u201cBESS\u201d) units across five sites within Green Mountain Power\u2019s (\u201cGMP\u201d) service territory in Vermont.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The project\u2019s advancement follows GMP\u2019s operational use of an existing NOMAD system for peak management and to maintain service to customers during planned utility maintenance.
