(&#8220;Brazil Potash&#8221; or the &#8220;Company&#8221;) (NYSE American: GRO), a mineral exploration and development company with a critical mineral potash agriculture project, the Autazes Potash Project (the \u201cAutazes Project\u201d), today announced that, further to the Company\u2019s press release dated July 16, 2026, Brazil\u2019s Supreme Federal Court (Supremo Tribunal Federal or \u201cSTF\u201d), the country\u2019s highest court, has rejected a petition that sought, among other relief, to halt construction permits and other development activities at the Autazes Project.<\/p>\n<p>The petition, filed by Brazil&#8217;s Federal Public Defender&#8217;s Office (Defensoria P\u00fablica da Uni\u00e3o, or &#8220;DPU&#8221;), sought to suspend the effects of favorable decisions previously issued by Brazil\u2019s Federal Court of Appeals. On August 18, 2026, the President of the STF, Justice Edson Fachin, reject the petition in full.<\/p>\n<p>In his decision, Justice Fachin found that the requirements for this exceptional type of proceeding had not been met, including because there was no demonstrated serious harm to public order or the economy. The decision also noted that such proceedings cannot be used as a substitute for the appropriate appellate process.<\/p>\n<p>With this decision, the Court of Appeal\u2019s favorable rulings remain in effect, and the petition does not affect the current status of the Autazes Project\u2019s licensing or ongoing development activities.
