NEW YORK, Aug. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Pelican Acquisition II Corporation (Nasdaq: PLCIU) (the \u201cCompany\u201d), a Cayman Islands exempted company, announced that holders of the Company’s units sold in its initial public offering may elect to separately trade the ordinary shares and rights included in the units, commencing on or about August 12, 2026.<\/p>\n

Any units not separated will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol \u201cPLCIU\u201d and the separated ordinary shares and rights are expected to trade under the symbols \u201cPLCI\u201d and \u201cPLCIR,\u201d respectively. Holders of units will need to have their brokers contact Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company, the Company’s transfer agent, in order to separate the units into ordinary shares and rights.<\/p>\n

Each unit consists of one ordinary share and one right to receive one-tenth (1\/10) of one ordinary share.<\/p>\n
