Kappler, Executive Vice President, President, P&amp;C, in connection with the commencement of his employment with the Company.<\/p>\n<p>\nEffective August 3, 2026, Kappler was granted an award of restricted stock units with respect to 30,738 shares of Kemper Corporation\u2019s common stock (\u201cCommon Stock\u201d) and an award of performance stock units with respect to 17,077 shares of Common Stock at target (for which up to 36,431 shares may be earned based on performance).<\/p>\n<p>\nThese restricted stock units are scheduled to vest in three equal increments on each of the first three anniversaries of the grant date, generally subject to Kappler\u2019s continued employment through each vesting date.
