The FDA briefing documents reportedly raised concerns about post-hoc changes to Capricor&#8217;s statistical analysis plan, including changes to the methodology for calculating the primary endpoint, PUL 2.0, shortly before the database was unlocked and unblinded. This news caused the price of Capricor stock to decline $12.70 per share, or 64.5%, from a closing price of $19.70 per share on July 24, 2026, to $7.00 per share on July 27, 2026, the following trading day.<\/p>\n<p>On July 29, 2026, the FDA advisory committee met to discuss the Deramiocel BLA. The next day, a medical news website named Medscape reported that in a non-binding 9-3 vote, the panel concluded that available evidence did not support the efficacy of Deramiocel for treating DMD-associated cardiomyopathy.
