NORWALK, CT , July 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Mercator Acquisition Corp. (the \u201cCompany\u201d), a blank check company whose business purpose is to effect a merger, amalgamation, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses, announced today that it has priced its initial public offering of 15,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant. The units will be listed on the Nasdaq Global Market (\u201cNasdaq\u201d) and will begin trading tomorrow, July 9, 2026, under the ticker symbol \u201cMRCOU.” Each whole warrant is exercisable to purchase one Class A ordinary share of the Company at a price of $11.50 per share. Only whole warrants are exercisable and will trade. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to be listed on the Nasdaq under the symbols \u201cMRCO\u201d and \u201cMRCOW,\u201d respectively.<\/p>\n

Clear Street is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering. The Company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,250,000 units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.<\/p>\n
