Drought conditions across the U.S. have expanded significantly in recent months, reaching the highest percentage of national drought coverage in\u202fnearly four\u202fyears. According to the\u202fU.S. Drought Monitor<\/a>,\u202fapproximately 30% of\u00a0Pennsylvania\u202fis experiencing abnormally dry conditions. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s drought information website<\/a> currently lists 15 counties under drought watch status and four under drought warning.
