\nThe Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV<\/a>) today announced that the 2026 Travelers Championship generated more than $5 million for more than 270 charities \u2013 both tournament records. The PGA TOUR Signature Event was won by Viktor Hovland in a Monday playoff and marked the 20th consecutive tournament with Travelers as title sponsor.<\/p>\n

\nSince 2007, the Travelers Championship has generated more than $40 million for over 1,000 nonprofits in the region.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThis year\u2019s Travelers Championship saw record support for charity and crowds that reminded us why TPC River Highlands is one of the greatest venues in the sport,\u201d said Alan Schnitzer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers. \u201cIt has been an honor to serve as title sponsor for the past 20 tournaments, and we look forward to making next year\u2019s even more memorable. \nThe Travelers Championship donates 100% of its net proceeds to nonprofits. The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, based in Ashford, Connecticut, is this year\u2019s primary beneficiary. The organization provides a traditional summer camp experience for children with serious illnesses. Many other nonprofits \u2013 spanning arts and culture, education, food insecurity, healthcare, housing, human services, mental health, and science and technology \u2013 will benefit through the Travelers Championship\u2019s Birdies for Charity program.<\/p>\n
