Lisenby joins EMPLOYERS from ProAssurance Corporation, a multiline specialty insurance holding company, where he spent 25 years as the company’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary and a member of its executive leadership team. He advised the Board of Directors and senior management on insurance regulatory compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, government relations, and enterprise risk management, among other matters.<\/p>\n

Lisenby holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law, where he earned membership in the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English also from The University of Alabama. Following law school, he served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable James H. Hancock of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.<\/p>\n

He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, and the International Association of Defense Counsel, among other professional organizations.<\/p>\n
