The reconstitution becomes effective upon the opening of US equity markets on June\u00a029, 2026. Membership in the Russell\u00a02000\u00ae<\/sup> Index is based on inclusion in the broad-market Russell\u00a03000\u00ae<\/sup> Index.<\/p>\n

The Russell 3000\u00ae<\/sup> Index represents approximately 98% of the investable US equity market by market capitalization and serves as the foundation for the Russell 1000\u00ae<\/sup> and Russell 2000\u00ae<\/sup> indexes. The Russell 1000\u00ae<\/sup> Index measures the performance of the largest 1,000 companies within the Russell 3000\u00ae<\/sup> Index, while the Russell 2000\u00ae<\/sup> Index measures the performance of the smallest 2,000 companies within that universe.<\/p>\n
