\nHamilton Insurance Group, Ltd. (NYSE: HG) (\u201cHamilton\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) announced today that AM Best has upgraded the Financial Strength Rating to \u201cA\u201d (Excellent) for Hamilton Select Insurance, Inc. (\u201cHamilton Select\u201d), the Company\u2019s US excess and surplus lines (\u201cE&S\u201d) underwriting platform. The outlook of this Credit Rating is stable.<\/p>\n

\nAM Best noted that the ratings upgrade of Hamilton Select is primarily driven by recent enhancements of the explicit support provided by Hamilton and also reflects Hamilton Select\u2019s strategic importance to Hamilton.<\/p>\n

\nThe upgraded rating supports the continued development of Hamilton Select as a core US E&S underwriting platform within Hamilton and aligns with the Company\u2019s strategy of building a diversified, global specialty insurance and reinsurance company.<\/p>\n
