RYE, N.Y., May 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Gabelli Dividend & Income Trust (NYSE: GDV) (the \u201cFund\u201d) announced today that its 2026 annual meeting of shareholders (the \u201cAnnual Meeting\u201d) has been adjourned. The meeting will be reconvened at 8:00 a.m., Eastern Time, on June 29, 2026 at Indian Harbor Yacht Club, 710 Steamboat Road, Greenwich, Connecticut 06830 to permit the solicitation of additional shareholder votes with respect to Proposal 1(a), to elect three (3) Trustees by the holders of common stock and preferred stock of the Fund, voting together as a single class.<\/p>\n

The holders of the Fund\u2019s preferred stock voted at the Annual Meeting today to elect the Trustee nominee standing for election by the holders of preferred stock only, voting separately as a single class, as set forth in the Fund\u2019s proxy statement.<\/p>\n

The March 12, 2026 record date for shareholders entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting remains unchanged.<\/p>\n

During the period of the adjournment, the Fund will continue to solicit proxies from its shareholders with respect to Proposal 1(a). If you have already voted your shares prior to the adjourned Annual Meeting, your vote has been received by the Fund\u2019s inspector of elections and there is no need to vote those shares at the reconvened Annual Meeting unless you wish to revoke or change your vote.<\/p>\n
