More Than 2,900 Homes and Businesses Will Be Connected to America\u2019s Smartest and Most Reliable Converged WiFi Network for the First Time<\/i><\/p>\n

LAKE COUNTY, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–
\nComcast is connecting thousands of unserved homes and businesses in Lake County to multi gigabit, symmetrical Internet from America\u2019s smartest and most reliable converged network. Construction will begin this summer to expand the network to more than 2,900 locations, bringing them high-speed Internet access for the very first time. This project was made possible thanks to a public-private partnership with the state of Florida\u2019s Broadband Opportunity Program and includes locations in and around the communities of Taveres, Astatula, Eustis, and Groveland.<\/p>\n

\nXfinity brings Internet, mobile, entertainment, and smart home services into one simple, seamless solution \u2013 giving customers more speed, savings, and control over their connected lives. The project is expected to be completed in Fall 2026.<\/p>\n
