Standouts include <b>Peru <\/b>(+14.5 percentage points YoY), <b>Mexico <\/b>(+5.3 percentage points), and <b>Colombia <\/b>(+4.5 percentage points).\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Asia Pacific nations <\/b>have also consistently narrowed GenAI gender gaps on Coursera. <b>Uzbekistan<\/b> is a global standout, with an <b>8.8 percentage point increase <\/b>in their share of enrollments from female learners.\n<ul class=\"bwlistsquare\">\n<li><b>India<\/b>, Coursera\u2019s biggest market for GenAI enrollments globally, has recorded a <b>2.2 percentage point increase<\/b>, while <b>Vietnam<\/b>,<b> Indonesia<\/b>,<b> Thailand<\/b>, and <b>the Philippines<\/b> have also increased their share of female enrollments in GenAI courses YoY.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\nHowever, in many of the <b>Anglophone<\/b> and <b>economically developed countries<\/b>, men\u2019s enrollments are growing faster.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bwlistsquare\">\n<li>\nIn the <b>United States<\/b> (-0.9 percentage points), <b>Canada<\/b> (-1.0 percentage point), the <b>United Kingdom<\/b> (-1.8 percentage points), <b>Spain<\/b> (-1.1 percentage points), and <b>Germany<\/b> (-0.2% percentage points), women represent a smaller share of total GenAI enrollments in 2025 than 2024.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nOnce the enrollment barrier is cleared, female learners often demonstrate higher levels of persistence in GenAI learning.
