(B3: MOTV3)<\/b> (&#8220;Motiva&#8221;) today announced that ASUR has entered into a purchase agreement with Motiva to acquire all of the issued and outstanding equity interest of Companhia de Participa\u00e7\u00f5es em Concess\u00f5es (&#8220;CPC&#8221;), a wholly owned subsidiary of Motiva, for a purchase price of <span class=\"xn-money\">R$5,000 million<\/span> (<span class=\"xn-money\">US$936 million<\/span>)<sup>1<\/sup><sup>,2<\/sup>, with an implied enterprise value <span class=\"xn-money\">R$13,700 million<\/span> (<span class=\"xn-money\">US$2,566 million<\/span>)<sup>2,3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>CPC owns equity interests in 20 airports with concessions in <span class=\"xn-location\">Brazil<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Ecuador<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Costa Rica<\/span> and Cura\u00e7ao. The portfolio includes the <span class=\"xn-location\">Quito<\/span> International Airport in <span class=\"xn-location\">Quito, Ecuador<\/span>, the Juan Santamaria International Airport in <span class=\"xn-location\">San Jose, Costa Rica<\/span>, the Cura\u00e7ao International Airport in Cura\u00e7ao, the Confins International Airport in <span class=\"xn-location\">Brazil<\/span>, as well as the Pampulha airport, the Bloco Sul airports, and the Bloco Central airports in <span class=\"xn-location\">Brazil<\/span>. This acquisition will add more than 45 million passengers to ASUR&#8217;s 71 million reported in 2024, consolidating ASUR as the leading airport operator in the Americas.
