Credit: Boeing.\" \/><br \/>\n          <\/a>\n        <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>With the introduction of the 737-8 to its single-aisle fleet, Air Senegal will expand its network in <span class=\"xn-location\">Europe<\/span> and launch new routes from <span class=\"xn-location\">Dakar<\/span> to the <span class=\"xn-location\">Middle East<\/span> and Americas. The 737 MAX will also enable Air Senegal to serve secondary European cities, allowing fliers to save time bypassing major hubs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This acquisition marks a major milestone for Air S\u00e9n\u00e9gal,&#8221; said chief executive officer <span class=\"xn-person\">Tidiane Ndiaye<\/span>. &#8220;This order is part of Air S\u00e9n\u00e9gal&#8217;s strategy to strengthen and modernize its fleet in order to support the expansion of its regional and intercontinental network and reinforce <span class=\"xn-location\">Dakar&#8217;s<\/span> position as a leading aviation hub in <span class=\"xn-location\">West Africa<\/span>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The 737-8 can carry up to 178 passengers in a two-class configuration or fly up to 3,500 nautical miles (6,480 km).
