As COO, she will have responsibility for the Company\u2019s store operations, global supply chain, merchandising, marketing and digital, real estate and store development, decision science, and process improvement organizations.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cEmily\u2019s strategic vision and tenured understanding of the vital role DG plays in our customers\u2019 lives will be invaluable as she expands her responsibilities as COO,\u201d said Todd Vasos, Dollar General\u2019s chief executive officer. \u201cDuring her tenure, Emily and her team have consistently enhanced the shopping experience both in-store and through various digital and delivery initiatives, elevated the Dollar General and pOpshelf\u00ae brands, and improved operational efficiency, benefiting customers across the more than 20,000 communities we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Taylor <\/b>has held roles of increasing responsibility in numerous areas across Dollar General, including merchandising, pricing, merchandise planning, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations. In 2014, she was named senior vice president, general merchandise manager, with responsibility for non-consumable merchandising, and where she helped to create and launch the Company\u2019s Non-Consumable Initiative (NCI). In 2019, Taylor was named senior vice president of channel innovation and led the development and launch of the Company\u2019s pOpshelf\u00ae stores. Since being named evp, chief merchandising officer in September 2020, Taylor has overseen DG\u2019s merchandising, marketing and digital, global sourcing, merchandise operations, inventory management, in-store experience efforts, delivery initiatives and pOpshelf\u00ae.<\/p>\n<p><b>Taylor <\/b>has been recognized for her achievements as a trailblazer in the retail space and in 2025 was honored as Merchant of the Year by <i>Mass Market Retailers<\/i> (MMR) and named to the <i>Chain Store Age<\/i> Retail\u2019s Top Women 2025 list.
