Students\u2019 written reports and presentations are judged at the local level, with winners progressing to submit their presentations for sub-regional competition. This process continues with regional semifinals, followed by regional finals, and culminates in a global final scheduled for May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\nTeams are assigned subject companies, all of which are publicly traded, by local hosts\u2014members and volunteers from CFA Society Los Angeles\u2014who serve as the foundation for the written report and presentation. One of the benefits of participating is the opportunity to obtain unbiased research about the assigned company.
