(NASDAQ: HTZ) (\u201cHertz\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d), a leading global car rental company, today announced that Piero Bussani is joining the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, effective October 27, to lead global legal affairs, government affairs and sustainability and social impact.<\/p>\n

\nBussani brings more than three decades of legal and business leadership experience across the real estate, hospitality, consumer-facing, and technology sectors, including 18 years with Blackstone-backed portfolio companies. He most recently served as Chief Legal Officer at Homebound, a technology-enabled home building platform, and has held senior legal and executive positions at Invitation Homes, Revantage (Blackstone\u2019s global real estate services platform), Blockbuster, Extended Stay Hotels, and LXR Luxury Resorts. He began his career with the Washington, D.C. law firm Arent Fox.<\/p>\n
