NEW YORK, NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Calisa Acquisition Corp (the \u201cCompany\u201d) announced today that it priced its initial public offering of 6,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit. The Company\u2019s units will be listed on the Global Market tier of The Nasdaq Stock Market (\u201cNasdaq\u201d) and will begin trading on October 22, 2025, under the ticker symbol \u201cALISU.\u201d Each unit consists of one ordinary share and one right entitling its holder to receive one tenth of one ordinary share upon the Company\u2019s completion of an initial business combination, subject to adjustment. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the ordinary shares and rights are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbols \u201cALIS\u201d and \u201cALISR,\u201d respectively.<\/p>\n

The Company is a Cayman exempt company, formed as a blank check company for the purpose of entering into a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, recapitalization, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities. The Company intends to focus its search on businesses throughout Asia.<\/p>\n

EarlyBirdCapital, Inc. is acting as the book-running manager for the offering. The Company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.
