We&#8217;re building the foundation for the future with smarter, stronger infrastructure that keeps electricity flowing to homes and businesses in <span class=\"xn-location\">Morgan County<\/span> and across our region.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\n        <b>Weather-Ready Upgrades<\/b>\n      <\/p>\n<p>The new substation in <span class=\"xn-location\">Great Cacapon<\/span> replaces an older facility that depended on a six-mile-long power line winding through hard-to-reach, rocky and mountainous terrain.<\/p>\n<p>Located on a 20-acre site owned by Potomac Edison, the substation is served by a safer, easily reachable power line that is less susceptible to service interruptions, particularly during severe weather.
