The Notes will be guaranteed by Viking and certain of VCL\u2019s subsidiaries.<\/p>\n<p>\nVCL intends to use the net proceeds from the Notes, together with cash on hand, to redeem all of its outstanding 5.875% Senior Notes due 2027 (the \u201c2027 Unsecured Notes\u201d) and refinance the finance leases that currently finance three ocean ships, the <i>Viking Orion<\/i>, the <i>Viking Mars<\/i> and the <i>Viking Jupiter<\/i>, and one expedition ship, the <i>Viking Octantis<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>\nThis press release does not constitute a notice of redemption under the optional redemption provisions of the indenture governing the 2027 Unsecured Notes.
