Kaplan will rejoin the company as Chief Legal Officer effective October 6, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\nA former SVP, General Counsel, Chief Security Officer, and Secretary at StandardAero, Kaplan is returning to succeed Steve Sinquefield, who is retiring after holding the position for more than ten years. Kaplan will be based at the company\u2019s headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, and will report to Russell Ford, Chairman and CEO of StandardAero.<\/p>\n<p>\nKaplan brings more than 25 years of legal and executive leadership experience to StandardAero. He most recently served as Senior Counsel at the global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, where he advised clients on complex corporate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions matters. He also spent more than a decade as Chief Legal Officer leading the legal and compliance functions at M.D.C.
