As part of a multi-year strategy, Cardinal Health is investing in infrastructure and technology to increase efficiency, capacity and customer service levels. The Consumer Health Logistics Center uses automation and a hub-and-spoke logistics model to optimize consumer health product inventory across the pharmaceutical distribution network, to deliver the right product at the right time, in the right place.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Consumer Health Logistics Center\u00a0features\u00a0robotics, automated labeling and high-speed conveyors\u00a0that reduce physical demand on employees, improve pick-and-pack accuracy and streamline operations. Safety technology, including underground wire-guided forklifts, is helping prevent accidents and creating a safer work environment.<\/p>\n

Fully operational since July 2025<\/span>, the Consumer Health Logistics Center created over 150 jobs, demonstrating Cardinal Health’s continued investment in Ohio<\/span>. Over the past five years, Cardinal Health has invested more than $115 million<\/span> in Ohio<\/span> with the construction of four new distribution centers and infrastructure and technology improvements in its existing Ohio<\/span>-based facilities.<\/p>\n
