American Banker magazine has named Regions Bank’s Janel Taylor to its 2025 Most Powerful Women in Banking: Next list.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nTaylor is a senior vice president in Regions\u2019 Human Resources division. She is a key leader within the bank\u2019s Learning and Development group, where she manages the bank\u2019s Emerging Talent Program, an early career program created to train and develop current college students and recent college graduates as they begin to build a career with Regions.<\/p>\n

\nThe American Banker distinction honors high-achieving women 40 years of age and under who have successfully executed major internal projects, initiated meaningful change within their banks, and are helping shape the future of the financial services industry.<\/p>\n

\nTaylor joined Regions in 2017. In addition to managing the Emerging Talent Program, she leads a team of strategic learning program managers who serve all business and support groups at the bank, delivering comprehensive programs that equip associates to meet customer needs today and in the future. For example, Taylor manages Regions\u2019 Guild Tuition assistance program and leads various upskilling, reskilling and development initiatives, with an emphasis on scaling the bank\u2019s leadership and learning programs to serve more associates, helping them build their career with Regions to serve clients across all lines of business. Taylor began her banking career in 2008.<\/p>\n
