At the same time, the ticker symbols for its Common Stock and 10% Series A Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock (\u201cPreferred Stock\u201d) will change to STRR and STRRP, respectively, on NASDAQ.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">This name change follows the previously announced August 22, 2025 merger of the Company with Star Operating Companies, Inc. (formerly Star Equity Holdings, Inc.), now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. It reflects the Company\u2019s strategic direction and commitment to building a diversified portfolio of businesses aimed at generating long-term shareholder value. Shareholders are not required to take any action in connection with the name and ticker symbol changes.
