Expansion marks a significant milestone in providing more than 10k new child care spots to meet families’ needs during out-of-school time<\/i><\/p>\n

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Champions<\/b><\/a>, a part of KinderCare Learning Companies\u2019<\/b><\/a> (NYSE: KLC) (\u201cKinderCare\u201d) family of brands, is proud to announce the expansion of its before- and after-school programs with over 200 new site wins for the 2025\u201326 school year. This is the first time the team has reached this milestone since 2022. This growth includes entering three new states \u2014 Connecticut, Minnesota, and New Mexico \u2014 bringing Champions\u2019 national presence to 37 states.<\/p>\n

\nThis expansion builds on a series of strategic district partnerships and a shared commitment to offering high-quality, enriching programs that address important gaps in families\u2019 schedules \u2014 before- and after-school, during school breaks and around the holidays. These new partnerships enable more than 10,000 additional children to gain access to care.<\/p>\n

According to a recent KinderCare survey of more than 2,000 parents<\/b><\/a>, the search for child care is a major stressor for families, which means each new site offers an opportunity to create meaningful experiences for children while supporting working families and strengthening neighborhoods.<\/p>\n

\nAs part of the growth momentum across the more than 200 new sites, Champions will now support over 350 children in Martinez, California, from transitional kindergarten through 6th grade. The program is funded by the Martinez Unified School District (MUSD) to assist working families and will continue into summer 2026.<\/p>\n
