\nTri-Continental Corporation (the \u201cCorporation\u201d) (NYSE: TY<\/b>) today held its 95th<\/sup> Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the \u201cMeeting\u201d) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Stockholders voted in favor of the recommendations of the Corporation\u2019s Board of Directors (the \u201cBoard\u201d) on each of two proposals at the Meeting.<\/p>\n

\nSpecifically, Stockholders re-elected Directors Daniel J. Beckman, Janet Langford Carrig, Douglas A. Hacker, and Sandra L. Yeager, each for a term that will expire at the Corporation\u2019s 2028 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, and all until their successors are elected and qualify.
