The decrease in revenue was due to the following factors:\n<p>a.)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Revenues from Delivered events \u2013 Virtual and Hybrid events business segment decreased by <span class=\"xn-money\">$368,000<\/span>, mainly due to an event series with the Company&#8217;s largest customer that took place in the first quarter of 2024 and repeats every other year.<\/p>\n<p>b.)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Revenue from Delivered events \u2013 Physical events business segment decreased by <span class=\"xn-money\">$21,000<\/span>, mainly due to two customer events from the first quarter of 2024 that did not repeat in the first quarter of 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Cost of revenue in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by <span class=\"xn-money\">$97,000<\/span>, or 34.3%, over the same period last year, to <span class=\"xn-money\">$186,000<\/span>, reflecting the lower direct costs associated with the lower corresponding revenue.\n<\/li>\n<li>Gross profit margin for the first quarter of 2025 was nearly unchanged at 74.8% compared to 74.9% in first quarter of 2024.\n<\/li>\n<li>Selling, general and administrative expenses increased by <span class=\"xn-money\">$3,960,000<\/span>, or 328.4%, to <span class=\"xn-money\">$5,166,000<\/span>, mainly due to the recognition of stock compensation expense of <span class=\"xn-money\">$3,512,000<\/span> in connection with the vesting of employee stock options from the IPO, marketing expenses from brand and performance-related expenditure, and increased payroll expenses.\n<\/li>\n<li>Interest expense was <span class=\"xn-money\">$69,000<\/span> in the first quarter of 2025 compared to <span class=\"xn-money\">$26,000<\/span> in the first quarter of 2024.\n<\/li>\n<li>Net loss for the first quarter of 2025 was <span class=\"xn-money\">$4,836,000<\/span>, or <span class=\"xn-money\">$(.18)<\/span> per share, compared to a net loss of <span class=\"xn-money\">$405,000<\/span>, or <span class=\"xn-money\">$(.02)<\/span> per share, in the first quarter of 2024.
