The funds raised in each community will directly support local programming, training and competition fees for Special Olympics athletes in Iowa<\/span>, Indiana<\/span>, Michigan<\/span>, Minnesota<\/span>, Nebraska<\/span>, North Dakota<\/span>, Ohio<\/span>, South Dakota<\/span> and Wisconsin<\/span>.<\/p>\n

From March 19 through April 14<\/span>, guests at participating SpartanNash-operated stores and fuel centers were invited to donate an additional $1<\/span>, $5<\/span>, or $10<\/span> at checkout. Donations were also accepted online, making participation easy and accessible.<\/p>\n

The initiative is part of SpartanNash’s broader commitment to supporting People First <\/b>initiatives, strengthening communities and fostering purpose-driven partnerships.
