\nAlliance Resource Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ: ARLP) today announces that Jesse M. Parrish will join Alliance Coal, LLC (\u201cAlliance Coal\u201d) as its Senior Vice President – Operations where he will be responsible for assisting with the management of our coal operations. Mr. Parrish previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Blackhawk Mining, LLC (\u201cBlackhawk\u201d), which produces metallurgical coal at eight mining complexes across southern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky and employs approximately 2,000 people.\n<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Blackhawk, Jesse practiced law at Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP, where he focused on coal-related financings, mergers and acquisitions, and environmental matters. Mr. Parrish is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Juris Doctor. Parrish has previously served as the chairman for the West Virginia Coal Association and the Kentucky Coal Association and is a trustee for the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation.\n<\/p>\n
